Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023 Grand Finale

INTRODUCTION Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad was Haryana's only Nodal Centre for the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023, the nationwide student innovation challenge organised by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell and AICTE. KEY HIGHLIGHTS Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed and interacted with the participating teams during the central inauguration. As the sole nodal centre in Haryana, Manav Rachna hosted finalist teams, mentors and evaluators, providing infrastructure and a public platform for students to build solutions to real government and industry problem statements over the hackathon window. CONCLUSION Hosting the SIH 2023 Grand Finale underscored Manav Rachna's role as a leading innovation and incubation hub in the region, strengthening industry-academia linkages and the national push to turn student ideas into practical solutions.
