Introduction MRIIF successfully conducted The Fresher Orientation Program titled “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunity” to welcome and guide the incoming batch of students. The event highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation as viable and exciting career paths, offering students a platform to explore their potential as future entrepreneurs. Orientation Program Schedule Keynote Session The program began with an introduction to MRIIF and its mission to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation. Dr. Monika Goel, Umesh Sir, and Sanjay Sir each took five minutes to provide insights into MRIIF’s incubation facilities and the wide array of opportunities available to students. Startup Panel: Introduction and Journey A dynamic session followed, where representatives from three startups shared their entrepreneurial journeys: Furniture World Spillmate Poshan Twigs The panelists inspired students with their experiences, challenges, and success stories, creating an engaging and informative segment. Product Launch The highlight of the event was the product launch by Gaurav Sharma from Furniture World. This 10-minute session showcased the innovation and dedication of startup founders, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. E-cell Presentation The E-cell team comprising Garvit, Vansh, and Sarthak conducted a detailed 20-minute presentation. They outlined the objectives, activities, and benefits of joining the E-cell, emphasizing how it serves as a stepping stone for budding entrepreneurs. Activities The program also included interactive and engaging activities: A brief introduction session to break the ice among participants. A virtual tour of NewGen and MRIIC facilities to provide insights into the cutting-edge infrastructure available for innovation. A quiz session with chocolate prizes to stimulate interest and participation. Registration for the E-cell, allowing students to formally become part of the entrepreneurial community at MRIIF. Conclusion The Fresher’s Orientation Program was a resounding success, achieving its goal of introducing students to the vibrant world of entrepreneurship and innovation. By combining inspirational talks, interactive activities, and valuable resources, the program set the tone for a promising start to the students' journey with MRIIF. The active participation and enthusiasm displayed by the attendees underscored the potential for nurturing future leaders and innovators.
