EON-XR Educator Training Program

Introduction The EON-XR Educator Training Program, organized by NSDC and Manav Rachna Educational Institutions in collaboration with EON Reality, was successfully conducted on 30th–31st January 2025. The program brought together 170+ educators from diverse sectors with the goal of transforming teaching methodologies through immersive XR technology. Day 1 Highlights The program began with an inaugural session attended by senior leadership from MREI, MRIIRS, and NSDC. Training sessions included: Introduction to EON-XR products & features (navigation, support materials, release notes). 3D Xperience Creation using EON-XR libraries and workspace management. Merged-XR Training with digital twin creation, scanning, and importing 3D models. Spatial Meeting for collaborative learning with avatars and interactive tools. Day 2 Highlights The second day focused on practical applications of XR: Metaverse Builder with EON-AI for immersive learning environments. Soft-Skills Training integrated into XR-based modules. Editing & Customization of EON-AI Xperiences. Project Development: Participants created their own XR-based teaching projects. The day concluded with a valedictory session, where leaders emphasized the importance of XR in shaping future education. Conclusion The training program was highly impactful, equipping educators with the skills, tools, and confidence to integrate XR into their teaching practices. The positive feedback demonstrated a strong willingness to adopt XR technology, positioning MRIIF and MREI as leaders in immersive education initiatives in collaboration with NSDC. This program has laid a strong foundation for scaling XR adoption across educational institutions, ensuring interactive, engaging, and future-ready learning experiences for students.
