SESSION ON INNOVATION

INTRODUCTION The Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Foundation proudly hosted a Session on Innovation on the 11th of June, 2025, at the Manav Rachna campus (venue: AS29 MRIIRS). The event started at 9:00 AM and aimed to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among students, faculty, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Innovation is a critical driver of growth in today’s fast-paced global economy. Recognizing its importance, the Foundation organized this session to inspire participants to think beyond conventional methods, embrace new ideas, and transform challenges into opportunities for success. This session was also supported by the Institution’s Innovation Council, highlighting the institution’s dedication to advancing innovation as a core value. HIGHLIGHTS Session by Ms Saloni: The first part of the session was led by Ms.Saloni emphasized the objective of promoting innovative thinking and creative problem solving. She explained that the key concepts of innovation, including types such as product, process,incremental,and disruptive innovation. Ms. Saloni highlighted the significance of a thinking differently, also overcoming the challenges that entr face in the initial stages of their journey. She also touched upon the essential traits of successful innovation , such as resilience, adaptability, and a strong vision, and how these characteristics are often developed . Ms Saloni shared insights into the various stages of innovation development from idea validation and prototype development to market entry and scaling. She encouraged participants to take advantage of the resources available through MRIIS, emphasizing that early engagement with these innovation ideas can significantly enhance the chances of success for emerging innovations. Conclusion The Session on Innovation organized by the Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Foundation was highly successful in inspiring and equipping participants with the mindset and tools necessary to drive innovation. The session fostered a collaborative atmosphere where ideas could flourish and encouraged attendees to view innovation as a continual process essential for personal and professional growth. By integrating expert knowledge, interactive discussions, and practical activities, the session not only enhanced the understanding of innovation but also motivated participants to actively engage in innovative practices. This initiative reflects Manav Rachna’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus.
