Session on angel investment / vc funding opportunity for Early-stage entrepreneurs

1.Introduction On 10th July 2025, the Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Foundation (MRIIF) in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council hosted an exciting and informative “Session on Angel Investment” in Room AS 29. This interactive session was graced by Mr. Sanjay. With a friendly yet insightful approach, Mr. Sanjay interacted with student startup teams and listened to their project ideas, current status, and visions. Each team had the opportunity to pitch their startup, following which he provided tailored advice, highlighted blind spots, and encouraged out-of-the-box thinking. He didn’t just stick to numbers and funding — he talked about passion, team strength, product-market fit, and the importance of understanding the customer. His guidance offered both realism and inspiration, making the session feel more like a conversation with a future investor than a classroom lecture. During the session, several student teams came forward to present their startup ideas. Mr. Sanjay patiently heard each team, asking questions and giving practical feedback to help them improve. He offered suggestions on business strategies, product development, and how to attract early investors. The session also included open discussions where students asked questions about startup funding, challenges in execution, and ways to scale their ventures. It was a hands-on mentoring session that helped students understand what real investors look for and how to shape their ideas into successful startups. 2. Conclusion The Session on Angel Investment was a meaningful and engaging experience for the student entrepreneurs. Mr. Sanjay’s approach was thoughtful and supportive, making the students feel heard and understood. Instead of simply giving instructions, he shared valuable insights in a way that felt more like a conversation than a lecture.
